Our UCAT ANZ 2027 guide gives students an overview for planning their 2028 entry. The dates page separates published dates from those still pending. The official 2027 UCAT ANZ dates had not been published when we last checked on 14 October 2026.
For Otago Medicine, HSFY and Graduate applicants need a result from their application year. Auckland has published that it will use Casper and the MMI without UCAT for 2028 entry. Otago Dentistry does not require UCAT. Students applying to Australian universities should check each course directly.

UCAT ANZ is a computer-based admissions test for some medicine courses in New Zealand and Australia. If you plan to apply for Otago Medicine through HSFY or Graduate entry in 2027 for 2028 entry, you need a UCAT result from your application year. Auckland Medicine will not use UCAT for 2028 entry, and Otago Dentistry does not require it. The 2027 UCAT ANZ dates and fees had not been published as of 14 October 2026.
