| Interview | Structured interview with two interviewers who see your Medicine Application Form. In person only: Kensington for general, Gateway and Lateral entry; the nearest rural campus for REAP, at Wagga Wagga, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour or Albury. [1] |
| Other selection requirements | Offers rank academic results, UCAT and interview within each entry scheme. Scores are not averaged, and a high score cannot make up for a low one. Minimum ATAR 96.00 for general entry without EAS, 91.00 for REAP and Gateway. University applicants need GPA 5.5, or 4.8 for REAP. [1] |
| Pathways | Indigenous Entry Scheme applicants do the three-week Nura Gili Pre-Medicine & Health Program instead of UCAT, with an interview for that program. Gateway requires a Gateway school or a low-SES area under SEIFA IEO. Lateral Entry is for second-year UNSW BMedSci students. [1] |

What this means for your UCAT prep
UNSW excludes SJT, so focus your UCAT prep on VR, DM and QR. Keep time for schoolwork and interview prep because a high score in one part cannot make up for a low score in another.
